S a c r a m e n t o R i v e r H e a d w a t e r sMany visitors to Mount Shasta flock to the headwaters of the Sacramento River which can be found emerging from the side of Big Springs Hill in the Mount Shasta City Park. The water that bubbles out from the spring fell as snow more than 50 years ago. It is at this spiritual spot that some seekers drink the crystal clear waters which is believed to have healing properties.
